Fox Chapel Family Dental began serving the Pittsburgh area over 50 years ago through the practice of Dr. David Johnson. His sons, Dr. Michael Johnson and Dr. Marc Johnson have carried on their father's legacy to serve and meet the needs of their patients.
 
Dr. Michael Johnson graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He has completed training in every aspect of comprehensive dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative care to laser and preventative dentistry. Dr Mike takes great pride in prevention and diagnosing and fixing dental problems before they develop into bigger problems.  Dr. Michael devotes his time and skills to the Beautiful Smiles Foundation, a local organization dedicated to providing dental care for individuals and families who are unable to afford it on their own. He recently welcomed his daughter Hattie (starting our third generation!), a 2025 graduate of U. of Pittsburgh Hygiene School, to the practice.  Mike and his wife Anissa, now empty nesters, our enjoying adventures vacationing around the world.

      Dr. Marc Johnson achieved Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry.  (An honor obtained by less than 2% of dentists).  Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute. He is also a Mentor at the world-renowned Kois Center, an institution devoted to providing dentists with advanced training in comprehensive rehabilitative dentistry. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Marc’s mission is to help patients of all ages maintain healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. Dr. Marc has extensive experience placing and restoring dental implants.  He especially passionate about helping patients who are missing most or all of their teeth enjoy the benefits of a strong, healthy smile. Dr. Marc has completed over 1,000 hours of orthodontic training and graduated from the Duquesne University IV Sedation Certification Course.
